MGM Resorts International is seeking a Housekeeping Manager in Las Vegas to oversee the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas and to supervise, train, and assist a team of attendants and house persons. The ideal candidate will ensure rooms and public areas meet high standards and will manage daily briefings and inspections.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least 18 years of age, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping area.
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees in the area.
• Distribute workload fairly among station staff.
• Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons.
• Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies; ensure work is done properly.
• Perform daily written guest room inspections per department standards.
• Conduct frequent visual inspections of guest rooms and public areas.
• Monitor staff productivity and report any area below standards to the Executive Assistant Housekeeper.
• Counsel and discipline employees; provide regular feedback on duties and guest service.

The Job

It is the primary responsibility of the Housekeeping Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned housekeeping areas. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.

The Day-to-day

• Oversee and ensure the smooth operation of assigned area
• Supervise, train, direct, and assist all employees assigned to the area
• Distribute workload fairly and evenly to those assigned to the station
• Conduct daily briefing and schedule meetings with Guest Room Attendants and House Persons
• Ensure cleanliness of rooms, hallways, lockers, and lobbies that all work is done properly
• Perform daily written guest room inspections in accordance with department standards
• Perform frequent and consistent visual inspections of guest rooms and assigned public areas
• Monitor Guest Room Attendants and House Persons work productivity and communicate any area below departmental standards to the assigned Executive Assistant Housekeeper
• Counsel and discipline employees that violate department policies, practices, or procedures; provide regular feedback to Guest Room Attendants and House Persons on specific job responsibilities and guest service

The Ideal Candidate
