Formación

• 2+ years of progressive leadership in a high-volume, premier dining or beverage environment.
• Starbucks Operational Mastery: deep familiarity with Starbucks routines and standards.
• Experience navigating the fast-paced operational dynamics of a Las Vegas Strip hotel/casino.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, COGS, labor scheduling, and margin optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Review daily schedules and manage time-off requests; coach and train team on policies and performance.
• Supervise cashiers; ensure check handling and closing procedures are followed; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu-related matters.
• Assist with seasonal and holiday menu changes.
• Order supplies through IP System and Purchasing.
• Exercise cost controls across all restaurant operations.
• Manage pricing and maintenance issues; ensure accurate and efficient check processing.
• Communicate with guests regarding special requests and large-party reservations.

The Job

As the Assistant Manager of Starbucks at New York-New York Hotel & Casino, you will serve as a premier operational leader, championing brand excellence, driving daily performance, and safeguarding financial margins. In this role, you will lead front‑of‑house and backstage teams to deliver world‑class guest experiences, translate corporate brand standards into flawless daily execution, and cultivate a high‑performance service culture on the Las Vegas Strip.

The Day-to-day

• Review daily schedules and manage time‑off and vacation requests; coach and train team members on policies, procedures, and performance.
• Supervise cashiers to ensure policies and procedures for check handling and closing are properly maintained by service staff; manage operational activities and means of access and egress to ensure full compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshal regulations.
• Communicate directly with the Chef on all food service and menu‑related matters.
• Assist with seasonal and holiday menu changes.
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing.
• Exercise cost controls across all aspects of restaurant operations.
• Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks are processed accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate directly with guests regarding special requests and large‑party reservations.

The Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience in a high‑volume, premier dining or beverage environment.
• Starbucks Operational Mastery: Deep familiarity with Starbucks operational routines, deployment models, peak‑volume execution, and Licensed Store standards.
• Strip & Casino Heritage: Prior experience navigating the unique, fast‑paced operational dynamics of a major Las Vegas Strip hotel/casino resort.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), labor scheduling, and margin optimization.
• Proven capability to lead and develop talent, with prior experience in a unionized labor environment considered a distinct advantage.
