MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking an Assistant Manager for Primrose & Room Service at Park MGM to oversee daily operations of the restaurant and in-room dining, delivering exceptional guest experiences with attentive service.

You will work with the team to maintain Park MGM’s refined hospitality standards, plan daily floor coverage, supervise service, and coordinate with culinary staff to ensure quality and guest satisfaction.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in F&B management preferred.
• Experience with collective bargaining environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Create daily floor plans for shifts and coverage.
• Supervise floor service during hours of operation.
• Conduct employee evaluations and attendance management.
• Coordinate with Chef on food service and menu issues.
• Communicate with management, chefs, and staff to address guest needs.

• Maintain inventory and stocking areas.
• Ensure freshness and quality of food.
• Communicate with guests for special requests and large reservations.

The Job

As an Assistant Manager for Primrose & Room Service at Park MGM, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both our beautiful, garden-inspired restaurant and our personalized guest-room dining services while setting the stage for an exceptional experience with your welcoming smile and premier service. By understanding our guests' unique stories and needs—whether they are enjoying a relaxed brunch on our outdoor terrace or dining in the comfort of their room—you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far beyond their stay, working hand-in-hand with your team to maintain Park MGM’s non-smoking, refined hospitality standards.

The Day-to-day

• Make daily floor plans per shift to ensure proper rotation and coverage of stations
• Supervise floor service in dining rooms during hours of operation
• Perform employee evaluations and manage issues related to attendance records
• Maintain communication with the Chef on all food service and menu issues
• Communicate with management, chefs and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address issues or needs requested by guests and employees
• Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing; prepare purchase requisitions for any outlets from the warehouse or support departments
• Keep inventory form and stocking area updated
• Inspect food coming from support departments to assure freshness and quality
• Maintain direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations

The Ideal Candidate

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Work Varied Shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
• 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience required
• Previous F&B Management experience in Room Service or a similar High-Volume restaurant environment preferred
• Previous experience managing employees under a Collective Bargaining Agreement preferred
