Job summary

Apparel Group in Oman is seeking a Store Supervisor to lead retail staff, ensure top-tier customer service, and support profitable store operations. The role emphasizes knowledge of products, fashion trends, and adherence to company policies on a day-to-day basis.

The candidate will oversee rosters, merchandising, security, and performance feedback while maintaining VM standards and driving loyalty program adoption to boost repeat sales. Physical fitness for extended shifts is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of progressive experience in customer-centric roles with leadership experience
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is preferred
• Strong management and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales KPI targets

Responsibilities

• Must be fashionable / well-groomed and possess up-to-date product knowledge to minimize stock loss
• Maintain knowledge of new product trends and fashion directives to respond to customer needs
• Ensure retail staff can provide highest levels of customer service to maximize sales
• Assist Store Manager in implementing store procedures per company standards
• Ensure adherence to brand policies and procedures by all staff
• Regularly audit store administration and resolve issues
• Manage daily roaster, leave, and grievances of retail staff
• Maintain visual merchandising standards per VM guidelines
• Promote Club Apparel Loyalty Program for repeat sales
• Provide feedback to Store Manager and Area Manager about employees and products
• Maintain security awareness and vigilance in the store
• Keep informed about brands for effective suggestive selling

• Assisting the Store Manager in efficient and profitable operation of the store, in accordance with the Company policies and procedures
• End to end store responsibility in absence of Store Manager

• Ensure awareness and vigilance at all times of security in the store without any negligence
• Must be updated about the various brands of the group for suggestive selling to the customers

Desired Experience

The ideal Store Supervisor in a retail company should have 3+ years of progressive experience in customer centric role with strong management experience, leadership skills and problem-solving skills. Proven success in enhancing customer engagement, and achieving & exceeding sales KPI targets for stores. A bachelor's degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field is often preferred.
