Job summary

Oman Investment Authority in Muscat seeks a Lead Head Strategy & Business Planning to oversee the Strategy, BI and Performance Management function within the Commercial & Strategy unit. You will drive business planning, annual budgets, and enterprise analytics to enable strategic execution.

You will lead the 3-5 year strategic reviews, KPI cascading, and cross-functional coordination with Finance, Projects and Network Planning, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and growth targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in telecom engineering, Economics, Finance, Strategic Management or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 8-12 years in strategic planning, business planning, business intelligence or corporate finance.
• Minimum 4-5 years in a management or leadership role.
• Experience in telecommunications or similar regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Strategy & Business Planning function and align initiatives with the Sr Manager's direction.
• Oversee annual business planning and budgeting across divisions; set targets by line of business.
• Develop long-range 3-5 year strategic plans and drive KPI adoption and cascading across divisions.
• Oversee business intelligence strategy, analytics, reporting, and performance management processes.
• Provide strategic leadership insights and support executive decision-making.
