Job summary

Oman Investment Authority seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, governance, and capital strategy at OOMCO. You will shape financial strategy, ensure accurate reporting, manage liquidity, and align procurement with corporate goals.

You will oversee budgeting, cost discipline, risk management, vendor governance, and executive liaison to drive sustainable growth and shareholder value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline is required.
• Master's degree (MBA, Finance, or related discipline) is highly preferred.
• Professional certificates ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Experience 16 years of experience in Finance or related discipline, preferably in the Energy sector.
• 8+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Proven experience in strategic financial planning & modeling, budgeting and forecasting.
• Proven track record in assessing financial risks and implementing effective risk management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and forecasting and ensure accuracy of all financial statements.
• Oversee budgeting and governance of operating expenses across the organization.
• Manage capital funding strategy with investment partners to support growth.
• Oversee procurement governance including vendor management and contract strategies.
• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of finance policy, governance and risk management.
