Job summary

Oman Investment Authority in Muscat invites applications for a Budgeting & Control professional to support the Section Head in planning, preparing and monitoring the Bank's Budget and Rolling Plan.

The role involves consolidating departmental budgets, coordinating with leaders, maintaining working files, and delivering monthly and quarterly performance reports to management and regulators. Fluency in Arabic and English is preferred, with strong analytical and ERP budgeting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required; master's preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in budgeting, financial management or related area.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to accuracy.
• Proficient in ERP-based budgeting and financial planning models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in Arabic and English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in annual budget preparation and consolidation from departments.
• Coordinate with budget owners for timely submission of proposals.
• Provide justifications to Management and Board for proposed budgets.
• Maintain complete budget working files and related documents.
• Develop and update rolling forecasts for profitability and capital planning.
• Support regulatory submissions and ICAAP documentation where needed.
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and periodic financial reports.
