ConFlip seeks an experienced Sous Chef for its high-end Salalah restaurant. You will support the Head Chef, manage kitchen operations, and uphold top-quality standards in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years in a similar role, a culinary degree or equivalent, and strong leadership to guide staff, ensure safety, and drive innovative dishes using seasonal ingredients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant.
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively.
• Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Chef in creating menus and recipes that are innovative, delicious, and visually appealing.
• Oversee food preparation and ensure dishes are cooked to perfection.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling and safety procedures.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following sanitation guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on new menu items based on seasonal ingredients or customer feedback.

Salary for this position is $900 per month.
