Job summary

Ahli Bank Oman is seeking an experienced professional to manage overdue SME accounts, drive timely debt recovery, and maintain professional customer service. The role aims to reduce non-performing loans and improve collection efficiency, based on daily reporting.

You will oversee EMI cheques, coordinate with the Clearance department and CAD-RMG for varied correspondence, and follow up with internal departments and customers for exception trackers.

Qualifications

• Omani Nationals only.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking, financial services, credit, or collections, preferably within an SME or corporate banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage overdue accounts for SME customers based on daily reports and ensure timely debt recovery.
• Reduce non-performing loans and improve collection efficiency.
• Manage EMI cheques and coordinate with Clearance department and CAD-RMG for various correspondences.
• Follow up with internal departments and customers for exception trackers.
• Build and maintain relationships with foreign correspondent banks and local commercial banks.
• Negotiate lines of credit and diversify funding sources to optimize costs.
• Oversee credit risks and ensure compliance with AML and risk policies.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field
