ahlibank SAOG in Muscat seeks an experienced Relationship and Credit professional to manage overdue accounts, reduce non-performing loans, and drive recovery for SME and corporate banking clients. You will coordinate with Clearance, CAD-RMG, and internal teams to ensure timely collections and compliant operations.

Responsibilities

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with foreign correspondent banks and local commercial banks to facilitate seamless trade finance transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Develop, promote, and support the growth of the bank's business in the international market through correspondent banking relationships.
  • Relationship Management: Engage with internal teams (Credit Risk, Trade Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Legal) to support smooth execution of trade and treasury transactions.
  • Relationship Management: Positively represent the bank in the market and project a professional image.
  • Credit Management and Risk Mitigation: Negotiate lines of credit with foreign financial institutions to support trade finance and liquidity management.

The role is expected to manage overdue accounts based on the daily reports for all SME customers and ensuring timely debt recovery while maintaining professional customer service. Focusing on reducing non-performing loans and improving collection efficiency. Managing EMI cheques and Coordinating with Clearance department, as well as CAD-RMG for varied correspondences based on customer/RM request. Finally, the role is expected to follow up with internal departments & Customers for exception trackers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain relationships with foreign correspondent banks and local commercial banks to facilitate seamless trade finance transactions.
    • Develop, promote, and support the growth of the bank's business in the international market through correspondent banking relationships.
