Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment in Muscat, Oman, seeks an experienced Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Manager to lead contract management, site oversight, and spare parts and warranty activities for utility-scale solar and wind assets.

You will manage O&M/EPC contractors, review contracts, monitor KPIs, coordinate with grid operators, and mentor site teams across multiple sites, ensuring safety, reliability, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering (Master's degree or MBA an advantage).
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in O&M or asset management of utility-scale assets, with 3–5 years in solar/wind.
• Experience managing O&M/EPC contractors, LTSAs, and substation/HV assets from an Owner's perspective.
• Strong understanding of PV and wind technology, HV substation equipment, protection systems, and grid codes.
• Experience with CMMS/APM software, SCADA, and contract/warranty management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead tendering, evaluation, and selection for O&M contractors and subcontractors.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize O&M contracts and LTSAs for the Owner.
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and LD provisions.
