Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks a Head of Contract Management in Muscat to govern all active EPC and renewable energy contracts. The role provides contractual authority across projects, leads claims, and coordinates with engineering, planning, commercial and legal functions.

You will maintain a structured contracts register, define notices, deadlines and response timelines, review PPAs and grid-related agreements, and drive risk mitigation while safeguarding the Owner’s position.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of contract management in construction/EPC.
• Senior/lead role with portfolio responsibility.
• Experience with renewable energy projects (wind/solar/BESS) and PPAs.

Responsibilities

• Govern the full contractual lifecycle from pre-tender to close-out across EPC and renewable energy contracts.
• Review EPC contracts for risks, gaps, and mitigation actions; align with PPAs and grid agreements.
• Lead the preparation and defense of contractual claims, including EOT and cost claims.
• Manage notices, approvals and deadlines; ensure timely, compliant contractual communications.
• Maintain a structured contracts register and enforce procedures across the department.
• Coordinate with planning, engineering, commercial and legal teams to protect owner interests.
