Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment seeks a Senior Civil Engineer for renewable energy projects in Oman, focusing on wind, solar PV and BESS. The role requires 10+ years of civil engineering experience and 5–7 years in utility-scale renewables, with on-site responsibilities.

You will coordinate across EPC and owner teams, review designs, ensure safety and quality, and support O&M post COD, including site access and logistics in remote environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• 5–7 years in utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• English proficiency at B2–C1.
• Willingness to travel internationally and be on site.

Responsibilities

• Act as civil technical authority for Wind, Solar PV and BESS projects.
• Define and enforce Owner civil design criteria and specifications.
• Review and approve EPC and OEM civil and structural designs.
• Oversee earthworks, foundations, roads, drainage and structures.
• Support construction, inspection and quality control.
• Assist in achieving COD and project handover.
