Job summary

Omantel (Oman) is seeking an experienced Finance professional to support monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, ensuring IFRS compliance and accurate financial statements. You will liaise with internal teams and external auditors, prepare schedules, reconciliations, and tax documentation, while maintaining high data integrity.

Role requires 6 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and ACCA or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a relevant field.
• ACCA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
• 6 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of VAT and IFRS required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
• Perform monthly close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Support audit, tax compliance, and regulatory reporting processes.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries and tax teams for timely submissions.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and provide management with insightful analyses.
