Job summary

Maseera is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the Manager and Senior Manager in preparing accurate, timely, and compliant financial statements and reporting schedules. The role covers monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, IFRS interpretations, and liaising with auditors and tax stakeholders to ensure smooth reporting and compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with ACCA or equivalent qualifications preferred and at least 6 years of relevant

• Bachelor's degree is required; ACCA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate, timely and compliant financial statements and reporting schedules.
• Conduct accounting reconciliations and tax schedules.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities.
• Interpret IFRS requirements and ensure proper supporting documents.
• Liaise with internal teams, external auditors and tax stakeholders to ensure smooth reporting and compliance.

The role supports monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities, interprets and applies IFRS requirements, ensures accounting entries and tax-related deliverables are properly supported, and liaises with internal teams, external auditors, state auditors and tax stakeholders to ensure smooth reporting and compliance processes.
