Omantel Finance is seeking a Senior Accountant to support monthly, quarterly and annual close, prepare financial statements and tax schedules, and assist with audits. The role requires IFRS expertise and strong analytical skills, with coordination across subsidiaries and tax teams.

The ideal candidate will have ACCA or equivalent and at least 6 years of relevant experience, with solid Oracle Financials and Excel proficiency. This position is based in Muscat, Oman, within the Finance unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of VAT, income tax, IFRS.

Responsabilités

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and schedules.
• Perform monthly closing activities and explain variances.
• Maintain reconciliations and supporting schedules for subsidiary results.
• Prepare and review tax schedules and assist with tax compliance.
• Support audits and liaise with internal/external auditors and tax authorities.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries for timely reporting packs and management explanations.
