Job summary

Experience in Oman seeks a senior estimator to lead cost estimation and tender submissions for utilities, infrastructure, and civil projects. The role collaborates with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to develop competitive proposals.

The candidate will review tender documents, prepare comprehensive cost breakdowns, and support pricing strategies to secure new business opportunities, while ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8–12 years of experience in estimation and tendering within utilities, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of estimation software, pricing methodologies, and market rate analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQ to identify scope, requirements, and risks.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Coordinate with procurement for material quotations and supplier comparisons.
• Liaise with subcontractors to obtain competitive prices and technical compliance.
• Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and contract finalization as required.
