Job summary

Experience is seeking a Senior Tendering Engineer in Oman to lead end-to-end tendering and bid preparation for energy sector projects. The role requires reviewing documents, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and developing cost estimates and pricing strategies for competitive proposals.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in tendering or proposal management within Oil & Gas, Power, Renewables, or EPC. GCC experience, especially in Oman, is preferred and English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in tendering, bid management, or proposal engineering within energy sector.
• Experience with Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Renewable Energy, or EPC projects.
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end tendering and bid submissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end tendering and bidding process from inquiry to submission.
• Review tender documents, technical specs, commercial requirements, and terms.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimation, finance, legal, and project teams.
• Develop accurate cost estimates, pricing strategies, and bid docs.
• Prepare bid clarifications and respond to client queries.
• Conduct risk assessments and identify risks in bids.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for competitive quotes.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and regulations.
• Maintain bid schedules and timely submissions.
• Support management during contract negotiations and handover.
