Job summary

Salam Air is seeking a senior engineer to lead complex aircraft and fleet-related projects across the lifecycle, ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective execution of heavy maintenance events and fleet transitions.

The role requires extensive aviation experience, leadership of technical projects, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders to meet contractual obligations and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering or hold ICAO Type II Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license.
• Minimum of 15 years in aviation with at least 5 years leading technical projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage aircraft engineering and fleet projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate and oversee BFE selection and procurement to meet operational requirements and schedules.
• Manage routine and non-routine checks including WP, engine change, fuel nozzle change, and modification tasks.
• Oversee heavy maintenance events (C-Checks, structural inspections, cabins, painting).
• Coordinate with OEMs, MROs, and regulatory authorities for modification approvals and implementation.
