Job summary

Salam Air seeks a senior engineering leader to head technical oversight of its engine and APU fleet, including LEAP-1A and CFM56 assets. You will drive lifecycle airworthiness, reliability improvements, and cost-effective maintenance while ensuring regulatory compliance across in-service, shop visits, and lease activities.

The role requires a veteran aerospace engineer with a track record in leading teams, coordinating with OEMs, and delivering robust technical governance for powerplant

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years in aviation, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical leadership and engineering support for Salam Air's engine and APU fleet (LEAP-1A, CFM56).
• Ensure airworthiness, reliability, cost-effective maintenance, and regulatory compliance across lifecycle.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting, support line/base maintenance, and post-shop reporting.
• Drive reliability programs, lease management, and OEM governance with other departments.
