Salam Air in Muscat, Oman, seeks a senior aviation project leader to drive complex aircraft engineering and fleet-related projects across the entire lifecycle. You will oversee heavy maintenance programs, EIS, fleet transitions, and ensure regulatory and contractual compliance to safeguard safety, quality, and operational readiness.

Competenze

• Graduate in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical Engineering, or alternatively Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license ICAO type II.

Mansioni

• Lead and manage aircraft engineering and fleet-related projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate and oversee the BFE selection and procurement process by working closely with user departments and the Technical Materials Department, ensuring that equipment meets requirements and that procurement/delivery aligns with schedules.
• Manage routine and non-routine checks including WP, engine change, fuel nozzle change, and modification tasks.
• Interface with internal/external stakeholders to manage contractual obligations, negotiate amendments, and close contracts upon completion.
• Review and support the preparation of proposals, statements of work, technical specs, cost estimates, and contract negotiations to aid in decision-making.
