Qualifications

  • Existing professional relationships with oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, service companies, or industrial customers in Oman.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a sales strategy focused on revenue growth, market penetration, and profitable oilfield trading opportunities.
  • Develop business with oil and gas operators, EPC contractors, drilling companies, maintenance providers, and service organizations.
  • Maintain direct relationships with procurement teams, engineering personnel, project managers, and commercial decision-makers.
  • Identify upcoming requirements, projects, tenders, and replacement needs across target customer accounts.
  • Manage tender invitations from initial review through quotation preparation, commercial submission, clarification, and final negotiation.
  • Prepare competitive quotations covering pricing, lead times, technical compliance, payment terms, and supply conditions.
  • Negotiate contracts and commercial agreements while maintaining acceptable margins and risk controls.
  • Grow key accounts by understanding purchasing patterns, technical requirements, and future project demand.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, technical documents, delivery commitments, and commercial support.
  • Work closely with logistics and internal operations teams to ensure orders are delivered according to agreed schedules.
  • Monitor competitor positioning, pricing activity, customer preferences, and changing oilfield market conditions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, tender status reports, and account updates.
  • Guide junior sales personnel on customer engagement, product positioning, quotation follow-up, and business development priorities.
  • Resolve customer concerns involving deliveries, specifications, documentation, or commercial commitments through effective internal coordination.
  • Conduct sales activities in accordance with company procedures and applicable HSE requirements.

The Sales Manager - Oilfield Equipment will drive growth within the oilfield trading division by developing opportunities with operators, EPC contractors, service companies, and other energy-sector customers. The position requires active market engagement, disciplined pipeline management, and close coordination with suppliers and internal teams. Success will be measured through new account development, tender conversion, profitable sales growth, customer retention, and reliable execution of supply commitments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fluency in English and Hindi.
  • Arabic language skills are advantageous.
  • Valid Oman driving license is mandatory.
  • Comfortable travelling to customer locations and managing commercial relationships independently.
