Sheraton Hotels & Resorts in Muscat seeks a Management-level professional to supervise daily restaurant operations, oversee menu planning, and ensure sanitation standards. The role includes guiding staff, coaching team members, and driving guest satisfaction while maximizing financial performance in food and beverage outlets.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED with 4 years in F&B/culinary or related field, and/or a 2-year degree with additional experience in hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience in F&B or related area.

Responsabilités

• Supervises and manages daily restaurant operations and staff coverage.
• Maintains service and sanitation standards in restaurant, bar/lounge and room service areas.
• Reviews staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives.
• Leads and mentors team; ensures compliance with policies, laws, and sanitation standards.
• Manages guest service quality; resolves guest concerns and feedback to drive satisfaction.
• Oversees training needs, development plans, and performance standards for staff.
• Executes cost control, purchasing, and invoice payment responsibilities.
• Provides leadership and direction to align departmental goals with financial targets.
• Ensures high service levels from arrival to departure and handles special requests.
• Supports servers/hosts during peak times and assists floor operations as needed.
• Trains staff, maintains open communication, and fosters teamwork.
• Oversees HR activities including performance management and staff recognition.

Formation

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in F&B/culinary or related field

2-year degree in Food Service/Hospitality/Business Administration; 2 years related F&B experience
