Job summary

Al Habib & Co LLC in Muscat is seeking a leasing professional to lease vacant residential units under management. You will identify tenants, understand requirements, present suitable properties and convert inquiries into leases while maximizing occupancy and rental income.

You will handle viewings, negotiate terms, and ensure leasing documentation and payments are completed accurately and on time, maintaining strong relationships with tenants and landlords and meeting monthly/annual targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in science, Arts, Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in residential property leasing or related real estate field.
• Strong sales, communication and negotiation skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English and Arabic.
• Knowledge of Oman residential rental market and current rental trends.
• Knowledge of residential leasing procedures and tenancy documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure and achieve leasing targets.
• Knowledge of property portals and digital/social media marketing would be an advantage.
• Computer literacy and ability to maintain accurate leasing records.
• Valid Oman driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Generate residential leasing leads through enquiries, referrals, property portals, social media and other marketing channels.
• Respond promptly to telephone, online and walk-in enquiries.
• Understand prospective tenants' requirements, budget and preferred location and recommend suitable properties.
• Arrange and conduct property viewings and follow up with prospective tenants.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with tenants, landlords and prospective customers.
• Negotiate rental rates and other leasing terms within approved limits.
• Convert enquiries and viewings into successful leasing transactions and achieve agreed monthly/annual targets.
• Promote vacant units through approved marketing channels and ensure properties are properly presented for leasing.
• Maintain up-to-date information on available and upcoming vacant units.
• Gather and report information on prevailing residential rental rates, demand, occupancy and competitor activities.
• Follow up on enquiries and prospective tenants until closure or confirmation.
• Coordinate with Property Management and other departments for property availability, handover and tenancy documentation.
• Ensure timely preparation and completion of tenancy agreements and registration formalities.
• Ensure timely collection of rental cheques, security deposits and other applicable payments.
• Update the leasing system regularly and maintain accurate records of enquiries, viewings, negotiations and completed transactions.
• Attend daily/regular sales meetings and share leads, market information and leasing updates with colleagues.
• Review own leasing performance regularly and work towards achieving or exceeding targets.
• Maintain professional relationships with existing tenants to encourage renewals and referrals.
• Be responsible and accountable for meeting deadlines and completing leasing transactions efficiently.
• Provide a high standard of customer service throughout the leasing process.
