Job summary

gu-recruitment invites applications for a Plant HR Lead role in Oman. You will lead workforce planning, manage end-to-end recruitment for operations, maintenance, technical and support functions, and coordinate with external agencies to meet safety-critical qualifications.

You will oversee onboarding, training coordination, and maintenance of training matrices and compliance documentation, supporting Omanization goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–8 years HR experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Chinese is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of Omani Labour Law and experience in recruitment and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute plant workforce hiring plan and end-to-end recruitment for operations, maintenance, technical and support functions.
• Oversee onboarding, HR induction, site orientation, and training coordination with matrices and compliance documentation.
• Advise managers on disciplinary processes, grievance handling, attendance, and performance management according to policy and law.
• Ensure compliance with Omani Labour Law, HR policies, governance, and audits; manage contracts and HR reporting.
• Provide day-to-day HR administration support, payroll coordination, and data reporting to plant management and corporate HR.
