Job summary

Green Umbrella Recruitment is seeking a Pastry & Bakery Commis I in Muscat to prepare, bake, finish, and present an array of breads, pastries, cakes and desserts. The role reports to the Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, or Sous Chef and demands high standards of quality and safety.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of Pastry & Bakery experience, GCC experience is mandatory, and be currently in Oman with the ability to work nights and weekends as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pastry & Bakery Commis I.
• GCC experience is mandatory.
• Preferably available immediately and currently in Oman.
• Knowledge of baking techniques, pastry preparation, and dessert production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, finish, and present a wide range of premium breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked products.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Support timely production to meet operational and customer demands.
• Report to the Chef de Partie, Pastry Chef, or Sous Chef.
