Job summary

Goodman Masson Oman is establishing a new financial markets venture in Muscat. You will join the Operations team to ensure timely settlement, manage exceptions and support corporate actions, repo and collateral activities.

The role requires hands-on securities operations experience, fluency in English and willingness to work rotating shifts across a Sunday–Friday window in a growing organization. This is a pivotal early-stage role in a market-facing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years' experience in securities operations, settlement, custody or financial markets operations.
• Experience in multi-currency, multi-asset environments with time‑critical settlement deadlines.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including extended hours.
• Knowledge of delivery-versus-payment (DvP) settlement and settlement controls.
• Solid audit-trail discipline and incident-reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor settlement instructions and processing dashboards across currencies.
• Investigate failures and coordinate with banks and custodians.
• Record and resolve settlement exceptions and maintain audit trails.
• Support corporate actions processing, repo and collateral management.
• Provide thorough shift handovers and incident documentation.
