Job summary

Goodman Masson Oman is building a new financial markets venture in Oman and seeks a Product Regulatory Analyst to ensure product features comply with regulations and the company rule book before launch. This is an early-stage role offering exposure to complex regulatory matters and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Economics or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in regulatory compliance, legal or product-related roles, ideally within financial services or payments.
• A sound understanding of financial services regulation, rule books, participant agreements and product lifecycle processes.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Arabic.

Responsibilities

• Review product features against applicable regulations, the company’s rule book and participant agreements.
• Identify, document and assess compliance gaps, recommending practical remediation actions to product teams and management.
• Support Product Development in working with the regulator to help draft regulations where existing frameworks do not yet cover the company’s services.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on current and planned products.
• Maintain clear records of regulatory reviews, findings, recommendations and agreed actions to support audit and governance requirements.
• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve regulatory matters and escalate material compliance gaps or risks appropriately.
• Contribute to the development of robust regulatory processes and documentation as the venture grows.
