Job summary

Salary is seeking an experienced Country Sales Manager / BDM in Muscat, Oman to drive sales and manage key client relationships in the drilling services sector. The role requires a deep understanding of drilling rigs, equipment, and related services, with a track record in technical sales and account leadership.

The candidate will lead business development activities, oversee profitability, and work closely with operations to ensure client satisfaction and contract success in a dynamic Middle

Qualifications

• 15-20 years total experience.
• Proven drilling industry background with operational, technical, maintenance, servicing or commercial exposure.
• Progressed into Sales Manager, Account Manager, or BDM roles with a technical sales focus.
• Strong knowledge of drilling rigs, equipment, drill pipes, and related services.
• Experience in rig inspection, refurbishment, repair, or servicing (e.g., CAT III/IV).
• Exposure to onshore/offshore drilling operations, ideally in the Middle East.
• Strong commercial acumen, including business performance, cash flow, and P&L management.
• Excellent client relationship, leadership, and business development skills.
