Job summary

SMC International Placement is seeking a qualified Scaffolding Supervisor Offshore for Saudi Arabia's offshore facilities. You will supervise erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding, ensuring compliance with drawings, project specs, and offshore safety procedures.

You will allocate work, inspect structures, verify stability, coordinate with construction, maintenance, operations, and HSE teams, and maintain inspection records and PTW documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Civil or Mechanical engineering or related discipline.
• Recognized scaffolding supervision and inspection certifications preferred per client requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise scaffolding erection, modification, inspection and dismantling on offshore facilities.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specs, and offshore safety procedures.
• Allocate work to scaffolders and ensure safe, efficient completion.
• Inspect scaffolding structures, platforms, ladders, guardrails, and working platforms.
• Verify compliance with designs and load requirements; ensure safe conditions.
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance, operations and HSE teams.
• Maintain inspection records, permits and related documentation.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure safe practices are followed.
