Job summary

Siemens AG in Muscat seeks an Area Sales Manager to drive new project opportunities with EPC clients, promoting Siemens portfolio in electrification, automation and digitalization. You will build strong EPC relationships, develop account plans, deliver persuasive presentations, negotiate contracts and close deals for complex technical solutions in the Middle East.

Qualifications

Electrical or Electronics Engineering Degree.
10-15 years of experience in system/solution sales in energy sectors (renewables, hydrogen, water & wastewater, power plants/utilities).
Strong technical knowledge of electrical power distribution, protection & automation.
CRM proficiency & MS Office skills.
Low voltage switchboards knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Early engagement to identify EPC project opportunities and promote Siemens portfolio in electrification, automation, and digitalization.
Build and maintain relationships with EPC firms, understand their business models and project needs.
Deliver persuasive presentations, negotiate contracts and close deals for complex technical solutions.
Monitor EPC project pipelines and focus on key verticals in the Middle East region.
Update data in the CRM tool and ensure accurate opportunity tracking.
Collaborate with sales and technical teams to develop market strategies and customized proposals.
Develop business models such as JVs and Open Consortiums depending on customer requirements.
Ensure up-to-date market information through internal and external partners.
