Job summary

Confidential Company in Oman seeks a post-tender MEP Quantity Surveyor with 5–8 years of experience to manage commercial activities, evaluate subcontracts and monitor project costs. The role requires strong FIDIC knowledge and proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD, with ERP experience considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in MEP Quantity Surveying, preferably in post-tender/project execution.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts and commercial practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD.
• ERP systems experience is an advantage.
• Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all post-tender commercial activities for MEP projects.
• Review contract documents BOQs drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and evaluate subcontract agreements and work orders.
• Measure and certify subcontractor progress payments.
• Prepare and submit variation orders, EOT, cost claims and additional work valuations.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, commitments and cash flow.
• Maintain records of purchase orders, work orders and cost reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, procurement and finance teams.
• Prepare monthly cost reports, forecasts and commercial updates.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor quotations.
• Prepare and finalize project accounts and commercial close-out documentation.
• Attend commercial meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors as required
