Job Summary
Burhan Oil and Trade Services LLC is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) with strong expertise in tendering, estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and cost control. The candidate should have experience in villa, residential, commercial, and general civil construction projects, preferably including Government projects in Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare BOQs, quantity take-offs, rate analysis, and cost estimates
- Manage tendering and estimation activities from enquiry to final submission
- Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work for accurate pricing
- Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare project valuations, subcontractor bills, and final accounts
- Monitor project costs, variations, additional works and commercial performance
- Conduct site measurements and verify quantities
- Coordinate with project, procurement and site teams on commercial matters
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, and Tendering
- Strong experience in villa, residential, commercial, and general building construction projects
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Government residential and building projects in Oman, including projects for Oman Ministries, Royal Oman Police (ROP), and other Government entities
- Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, billing, variations, and cost control
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, E-Massah, MS Excel, and MS Office
- Strong analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills
- Previous experience in the Oman construction industry is preferred
