Our client in Muscat is seeking an Omani Manager Quantity Surveyor to lead cost and commercial management functions within real estate development.

The role involves ensuring that all phases—from planning through construction—are delivered within budget, employing best practices in cost planning, procurement, and governance. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in quantity surveying and over 12 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in cost and commercial management.
• At least 7 years in a managerial role.
• Strong command of FIDIC and Omani standard contract forms.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost, contract, and commercial management functions.
• Prepare and monitor detailed cost plans.
• Oversee prequalification, tendering, and evaluation processes.
• Manage post-contract activities including progress valuations and claims.
• Produce periodic commercial reports for steering committees.
