Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating mobile hydraulic cranes.
• 1800 hours accident-free crane operation; lattice boom adds 200 hours if applicable.
• Valid Saudi Government Heavy Equipment Licence and a Saudi Aramco Crane Operator certification.
• Saudi Aramco specialty Crane Operator certification; lattice boom cert if lattice boom crane is used.
• English language skills; reading load charts in English or Arabic.

Job Summary / Objective

The Crane Operator executes high-precision lifting and material-handling operations across the rig site. This role demands flawless execution of safe operating procedures, accurate chart reading, and strict compliance with government and company certification standards.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute Specialized Lifting:Safely operate all types of basic and advanced mobile hydraulic cranes, as well as Lattice Boom Cranes if the job assignment requires it.
• Interpret Load Calculations:Read, calculate, and strictly adhere to crane load charts in English or Arabic to eliminate lifting risks and overloading.
• Acknowledge Operational Directives:Receive, process, and confirm work directions and critical hand signals in English during lifting maneuvers.
• Maintain Safety Tracking:Maintain an impeccable operational record, ensuring all lifting activities align with documented accident-free protocols.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in operating all types of basic and advanced mobile hydraulic cranes.
• Documented Hours:Must possess an absolute minimum of 1,800 hours of documented ‘accident-free’ crane operation as a Crane Operator II. If the job assignment includes the operation of a Lattice Boom Crane, the operator must complete an additional 200 documented hours of Lattice Boom Crane Operation.
• Licences:Must hold a valid Saudi Arab Government Heavy Equipment Licence and a valid Saudi Arab Government 2X licence.
• Certifications:Must possess a Saudi Aramco specialized Crane Operator certification. Must also hold a Saudi Aramco Lattice Boom Crane Operator Certification if the job assignment includes the operation of a Lattice Boom Crane.
• Language, Math & Communication:Spoken and written English; Math background equivalent to such standards acceptable to SAUDI ARAMCO. Must have the ability to receive and understand work directions in English, and the ability to read and understand load charts in English or Arabic.
