Job summary

The St. Regis Oman in Muscat is seeking a seasoned hospitality professional to lead the daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club, and Laundry where applicable.

You will direct and train staff, inspect guestrooms and public spaces, and ensure cleanliness standards while managing the department budget. Responsibilities include assigning work, monitoring performance, communicating expectations, and driving guest satisfaction through consistent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 2 years of housekeeping or related experience.
• Alternatively, a 2-year degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily shift operations of Housekeeping, Recreation/Health Club and Laundry where applicable.
• Directs staff, inspects guestrooms and public areas for cleanliness and maintenance, and enforces standards.
• Manages and communicates budgetary goals and department performance.
• Assigns work, monitors attendance and performance, and ensures corrective actions when needed.
• Supports guest satisfaction initiatives and coordinates with Front Desk and other departments.

Education

2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
