Job summary

Chedi Hospitality in Muscat seeks an Assistant Director of IT to guide the hotel IT operations, infrastructure, and security. You will ensure reliability, security, and availability of systems, while delivering effective technical support to colleagues and guests.

You will lead cybersecurity initiatives, manage vendors, coordinate with departments, and drive IT projects to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. This role requires strong leadership and hotel IT expertise.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in hotel IT operations and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of network and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience supporting PMS, POS, and guest services systems.
• Ability to manage vendors and service providers.
• Proven leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day IT operations ensuring availability and performance of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Oversee hotel systems such as PMS, POS, door locks, telephony, guest Wi-Fi, CCTV and security systems.
• Provide timely IT support to hotel departments and staff.
• Support cybersecurity policies, patches and incident response as needed.
• Coordinate IT projects, upgrades and system implementations with vendors and departments.
• Monitor network performance and ensure reliable connectivity for operations and guests.
