Job Description

Job Purpose:

Lead and manage HR and administrative functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives, compliance with regulations, and the development of a high-performance culture. Oversee recruitment, talent management, employee relations, organisational development, and efficient administrative operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Oversee recruitment, on boarding, and talent retention.
  • Manage performance appraisal and employee development processes.
  • Promote employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
Talent Development and Succession Planning:
  • Identify training needs and implement employee development programs.
  • Develop and execute succession plans for key positions.
  • Support leadership development and future talent pipelines.
  • Implement Omanisation plans in line with organisational targets.
Employee Relations:
  • Serve as the primary contact for employee relations matters.
  • Resolve workplace conflicts fairly and effectively.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and employee support.
Compensation and Benefits Management:
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll administration.
  • Conduct market benchmarking to maintain competitive reward programs.
  • Ensure accurate and timely salary and benefits processing.
  • Manage administrative functions and ensure efficient office operations.
  • Oversee facilities, assets, and office resources to maintain safety and productivity.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company assets.
  • Maintain high standards for employee facilities and services.
Compliance and Risk Management:
  • Ensure HR and administrative practices comply with laws, standards, and company policies.
  • Support the implementation of HSE policies and initiatives.
  • Manage HR and administrative risks, including data protection and employee safety.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare HR and administrative reports with insights and recommendations for management.
  • Utilize HR data and metrics to support decision-making and improve processes.
  • Monitor budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
  • Develop manpower plans in coordination with Department Heads.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Senior Management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree in HR or Organisational Development.
  • Relevant certifications in Human Resources (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are advantageous.
  • 12+ years of experience in human resources and administration, with at least 8 years in a managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, Omanisation program management and HR compliance to government regulations.
