Job summary

OQ Exploration & Production seeks a senior environmental leader to manage environmental strategy, governance, compliance and performance across Operated Assets and projects. You will drive decarbonization, monitor emissions, and ensure alignment with ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.

The role leads an environmental management team, oversees regulatory reporting, and collaborates with regulators and stakeholders to advance sustainability ambitions in offshore, onshore, and international

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an environmental discipline is required.
• 8+ years of post-qualification experience with formal leadership responsibilities.
• Experience in environmental compliance, permitting and monitoring.
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 and environmental management systems.
• Arabic and English fluency is required.

Responsibilities

• Own the environmental strategy, annual plan, budget, resources and performance targets across Operated Assets and projects.
• Translate legislation and corporate standards into policies and operational controls.
• Lead environmental due diligence for new ventures and asset transfers.
• Manage environmental risk, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Drive decarbonization initiatives and GHG monitoring within the portfolio.
