Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Muscat, Oman, seeks an energetic Operation Coordinator - IP with a Bachelor's degree and less than 2 years of experience to join our logistics team.

The role requires knowledge of air, ocean, and road freight, strong customer service, documentation and customs compliance, plus planning and coordination skills. You will track shipments, coordinate with carriers and DHL offices, and keep customers informed throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Freight forwarding and logistics knowledge (air, ocean, road, project cargo).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Documentation and customs compliance knowledge.
• Planning and coordination ability.
• Problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of shipment tracking systems and Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Following up with carriers, ports and overseas DHL offices.
• Tracking & routing air, ocean, and road shipments.
• Coordinating liners, ports, customs clearance, and delivery schedules.
• Attending port operations and coordination.
• Handling shipping documentation (B/L, AWB, commercial invoice, packing list, customs documents).
• Updating customers on shipment status and reports.
• Managing exceptions, delays, and operational issues.
• Coordinating with warehouses, transporters, and site teams
