Zohorecruit seeks a Core Banking Specialist in Muscat to lead the technical management, support, and development of core banking applications. You will drive system enhancements, manage vendors, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure stability and governance across deployments.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Computer Science or Engineering and at least 5 years in banking or IT supporting financial institutions. Strong focus on automation and process improvement is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking sector or IT companies supporting financial institutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical management, support, and development of core banking applications for stability and governance.
• Oversee system enhancements, releases, and readiness across teams and vendors.
• Resolve complex incidents with root-cause analysis and vendor escalation.
• Oversee interface testing and certification for system integrations.
• Engage with business stakeholders to assess issues and prioritize changes.
• Drive vendor performance and timely delivery of fixes.
• Push continuous improvement of core banking functionality.
• Lead the core banking workstream in IT projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Advocate automation and digital solutions while ensuring regulatory adherence.
• Ensure alignment with bank policies and governance in all activities.
