Job summary

Al Naba Holdings is seeking an experienced accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for construction projects in Muscat. You will maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, prepare invoices and vouchers, monitor project costs, and support month-end closing and financial reporting.

Strong Excel and ERP skills, plus the ability to coordinate with site and finance teams, are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
• 35 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and expense tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Knowledge of accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
• Good analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• GCC experience is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with site and finance teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities for construction projects.
• Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and verify invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
• Monitor project expenses, budgets, and cost records.
• Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and project-related transactions.
• Coordinate with site teams, procurement, and vendors regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and project cost statements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company accounting procedures.
• Support month-end closing, audit requirements, and financial reporting.
