Al Makhir International in Oman seeks a Finance & Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, cost control, and MIS for our manufacturing operations. You will establish solid financial systems and controls across the group’s businesses.

The role covers monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, product cost calculations, budgeting, VAT compliance, and ERP integration across purchasing, inventory, production, and sales. ACCA/CMA/CPA are advantageous.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting/finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, trading, or multi-company operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, bookkeeping, budgeting, and VAT compliance in Oman.
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP).
• Experience with ERP systems (Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or Tally).
• Professional certifications (ACCA, CMA, CPA) are an advantage.

Responsabilidades

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and experienced Finance & Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, cost control, and management information systems (MIS). The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing financial systems and controls for our new manufacturing operations while supporting financial management across the group’s businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping: Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries, general ledger, bank reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, supplier invoices, payments, and periodic closing procedures.
2. Financial Reporting & MIS: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow. Develop MIS reports and dashboards.
3. Manufacturing & Inventory Accounting: Calculate product costs including raw materials, packaging, labor, and overheads. Monitor inventory valuation, stock adjustments, and SKU-wise profitability.
4. Budgeting & Financial Planning: Prepare annual operating budgets, cash flow projections, and cost-reduction opportunities.
5. Taxation, Compliance & Audit: Prepare VAT calculations and returns in accordance with Omani regulations, and coordinate with external auditors.
6. ERP & Financial Systems: Assist in implementing and managing accounting and ERP software, establishing approval workflows, and ensuring integration across purchasing, inventory, production, sales, and finance.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant accounting and finance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, trading, or multi-company operations is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, bookkeeping, budgeting, and Omani VAT compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Odoo, SAP, Oracle, Zoho Books, or Tally.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA are an advantage.
