Job summary

The Bar Supervisor at Mandarin Oriental Muscat oversees bar service to ensure the highest standard of hospitality. You will back up the Assistant Restaurant Manager and coordinate daily bar activities, ensuring the team delivers exceptional guest experiences in line with MO standards.

Responsibilities include displaying in-depth knowledge of food and beverage offerings, setting up bars for all meal periods, supervising staff, handling billing procedures, and maintaining MO grooming and safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food and beverage and dining venue offerings.
• Ability to lead and supervise bar staff during shifts.
• Experience with billing procedures and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Display full knowledge of food and beverage and dining venue offering.
• Ensure colleagues start and finish shifts at the correct time.
• Assist in setting up bar for all meal periods.
• Assist colleagues in setting up bar service stations according to MO standards.
• Be familiar with billing procedures.
• Attend daily meetings and mandatory training sessions.
• Follow the 5Ps: Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
• Supervise F&B service and ensure the bar area is adequately staffed.
• Present the bill and handle payment procedures.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain MO grooming and safety standards.
