Job summary

PeopleStrong in Oman is looking for a Fabrication Supervisor responsible for overseeing all fabrication activities in the yard. The role involves ensuring that production targets are met while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will manage manpower and resources effectively, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and in accordance with approved specifications. A Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) is required for this position.

Job Description

To supervise and control fabrication activities in the yard, ensuring production targets are met safely, on time, and in compliance with quality standards, drawings, and procedures.

• Supervise daily fabrication activities (cutting, welding, fitting, assembly, blasting/painting if applicable).
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials as per production schedule.
• Monitor productivity and ensure targets are achieved within approved timelines.
• Coordinate with planning, QA/QC, and stores for smooth workflow.
• Ensure fabrication is carried out as per approved drawings, WPS, and specifications

Safety (HSE)

• Enforce HSE rules and company safety policies in the fabrication yard.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure use of PPE at all times.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions and take corrective action.
• Ensure equipment and tools are safely operated and maintained.
