Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an engineering design professional in Oman to develop, review, and support engineering deliverables for offshore modular fabrication projects. The candidate will be responsible for preparing design drawings, ensuring compliance with project specifications and international codes, and coordinating with various teams to minimize site issues. This role is crucial for maintaining constructability and production efficiency in offshore projects.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing design and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in producing GA drawings, shop drawings, and fabrication documentation.
• Familiarity with international codes and project specifications.

• Prepare and review design and fabrication drawings for offshore modules.
• Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.
• Coordinate with fabrication, production, QA/QC, and planning teams.
• Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.

Job description

To develop, review, and support engineering design deliverables for offshore modular fabrication projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, international codes, constructability, and fabrication yard requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review design and fabrication drawingsfor offshore modules, including:
  • Structural steel modules
  • Skids, frames, decks, and pipe racks
• Develop GA drawings, shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built documentation.
• Ensure all designs comply with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate closely with fabrication, production, QA/QC, and planning teams to ensure design constructability and minimize site issues.
• Participate in constructability reviews and value engineering exercises.
