Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of one year of rigging experience.
• Language & Mathematics: Sufficient English and mathematics to read and apply crane safe lifting charts and perform weight conversions.
• Mobility: SAG driver’s license desirable.

Job Summary / Objective

The Rigger calculates weight distributions, selects appropriate lifting tackle, and directs crane operators during complex material-handling maneuvers. This position enforces safe slinging practices and mathematical precision to prevent rig-site lifting incidents.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute Safe Slinging: Inspect, select, and secure specialized rigging tackle, slings, shackles, and lifting hooks to payloads.
• Apply Load Metrics: Analyze crane safe-lifting capacity charts and convert load metrics across kilograms, pounds, and tons prior to any lift.
• Direct Lifting Maneuvers: Issue clear, standard hand signals to crane operators during live lifting and positioning workflows.

Role Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: High School Pass or such equivalent acceptable to SAUDI ARAMCO.
• Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of relevant rigging experience.
• Language & Mathematics: Sufficient English and mathematics capabilities to read and accurately apply crane safe lifting capacity charts, and perform weight conversions between kilograms, pounds, and tons.
• Mobility: Possession of a valid Saudi Arab Government (SAG) driver’s license for driving a motor vehicle is desirable.
