Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Painter for our Oman Muscat site. The role is responsible for surface preparation, treatment, and painting of aircraft components and related equipment for the fleet assigned at this location.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of paint technician experience, be able to lead and mentor other technicians, and be knowledgeable of FMS-2026 F-16 Have Glass paint procedures and related USAF publications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years’ proven experience as a paint technician, including painting, maintenance and finish work.
• Experience with FMS-2026 F-16 Have Glass paint application procedures and related USAF publications.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation, treatment and painting on aircraft components and surfaces.
• Precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy or resin using brushes, rollers, spray equipment.
• Mask and cover areas not to be painted and apply vinyl graphics as required.
