Amentum is seeking an Aircraft Painter for our Oman Muscat site. The role is responsible for surface preparation, treatment, and painting of aircraft components and related equipment for the fleet assigned at this location.
The candidate should have at least 3 years of paint technician experience, be able to lead and mentor other technicians, and be knowledgeable of FMS-2026 F-16 Have Glass paint procedures and related USAF publications.

This aircraft painter position will report directly to the program manager and will be responsible for all surface preparation, treatment, and painting associated with the fleet of assigned aircraft at this location.
Performs surface preparation, treatment, and painting of components, all aircraft surface areas, aircraft panels, support equipment, or other items as required.
Demonstrated ability to precisely apply paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin, or other material using brushes, rollers, spray guns, and other devices.
Masks and covers portions of surfaces not to be painted. Working knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
Must be knowledgeable of military publications and diagrams.
Ability to precisely apply vinyl graphics to multiple aircraft surfaces.
Must be qualified in application of FMS-2026 Form 2, Type 1 F-16 Have Glass surface refinishing.
