What Is The Role

This is a full-time, Mon-Fri, 40-hour job with hybrid options and travel requirement within the client’s site.

  • Must be a New Zealand Citizen or hold permanent residency
  • Must have a New Zealand Driver's License (Full or Restricted)

The duties and responsibilities for the role include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly gross profit targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to support account growth and satisfaction.
  • Serve as the main liaison between clients and New Era to ensure high service standards.
  • Drive revenue through continuous sales of equipment, services, and infrastructure solutions.
  • Strategically position products and solutions throughout the sales cycle.
  • Sell across all New Era product categories and proactively pursue new business.
  • Prospect new clients leveraging off our established and extensive network and presence at national events and conferences.
  • Represent New Era at trade shows, events, and client meetings to promote offerings.
  • Keep clients engaged through regular updates, meetings, and events.
  • Participate early in client requirement discussions to tailor persuasive solutions.
  • Qualify needs, design and cost solutions, and contribute to proposals and quotations.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and client data in Connectwise; forecast pipeline regularly.
  • Present strategic account updates in Quarterly Business Reviews to executive leadership.
  • Complete development plans, maintain vendor certifications, and support other sales duties

Desirable

  • Experience in technology sales, MSPs, and education (schools)
  • Technical understanding of managed services, networks and /or security solutions
  • Organized, articulate, and proven ability to learn
  • Established skill set in solution and relationship sales
  • Demonstrated achievement of sales quota goals on a consistent basis
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong client relationships,
  • Competence and confidence in presenting
  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field is desirable
  • Any applicable Vendor Sales Certificates desirable
